Hello OMS families,

I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Mr. David Uminski to the position of Interim Assistant Principal at Overlook Middle School. I am sure many of you know Mr. Uminski from his many years of experience in AWRSD. For those of you who do not, Mr. Uminski spent 35 years at Oakmont Regional High School, with his final 14 years at ORHS being as Principal. Mr. Uminski's experience in school leadership and knowledge of and love of our district is unmatched. In short, he is the perfect person to fill this role as Ms. Shattuck transitions from the Assistant Principal role to that of Interim Principal. Mr. Uminski will serve as Interim AP until further notice as we continue the process of searching for a more permanent person to fill this position.
